Are You Troubled And Don’t Know What To Do

Have you been seeking guidance on a particular issue; yet, still you can’t discern what to do? We don’t always know why God doesn’t make everything clear when we ask for his help. But doing certain things can prepare us to hear his directions.

We need to ask the Lord if there is anything in our life that is hindering our prayers. Then, if he brings something to mind, we can receive cleansing through confessing our sins.

If we have not fully yielded ourselves to God’s will, our hearts will remain set on our own ways and desires. If that’s the case, we’ll have difficulty perceiving his will.

God is committed to answering our prayers if we ask according to his will. Therefore, we must carefully consider if our requests align with his desires as revealed in Scripture. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

God promises to act on the behalf of those who wait. Therefore, we must resist the urge to run ahead of him by trying to fix the situation ourselves or manipulate circumstances to get our desired outcome.

And while you are waiting, don’t allow uncertainty cause you to become anxious or fearful. Look at your situation as an opportunity to trust your omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God who always works everything for your good.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
