Bravery or Fear?

If we take the generally accepted definition of bravery as a quality which knows no fear, I have never seen a brave man. All men are frightened. The more intelligent they are, the more they are frightened. – George S. Patton

Interesting that the Bible never mentions the word brave and only mentions the word “Bravery” one time and that mention is a reference to the feminine gender.

In contrast, the Bible does mention the word “Pride” 29 times and it mentions “Fear” 400 times!

Most of the time what we would call brave is simply someone acting out of fear for self preservation.
