Snap Thoughts

Greetings Family,

It’s been awhile!

Honestly, I have been trying to decide if I need to make a change in my writing. For the past three years I have posted almost daily. In that time, five hundred kind persons have followed the blog. For that, I am eternally grateful.

I am a realist and I know that not everyone of those five hundred actually follow the blog. I also understand there are numerous reasons, from a business or marketing perspective, that move folks to sign up as followers. And I am not offended in the least by their drive to grow their businesses. In fact, I applaud their efforts as I support free market economics.

Fast forward to three weeks ago. I began to have issues with Facebook and Twitter censoring some of my posts on their platforms. A close friend suggested that I try using Parler and MeWe as venues to post my writing. In just a short three weeks there were over seven hundred “Up Votes” (likes) to my posts. Yes, most of those posts deal with current events, but I also include examples from the Word of God and real life factual experiences in the context of those posts.

It’s not all about numbers; I just want to reach as many persons as possible and the responses to my posts give me an indication of how many persons are actually reading my posts.

The family here on WordPress has been gracious and kind, so it is dilemma for me as to how I should redeem the time that God has given to me. I am not getting any younger.

If you like you can also find me on MeWe at mewe.com/i/davidhall1755 and on Parler at @Ridersinthestorm.

That said, in keeping with my promise to acknowledge every new follower of Pressing the Issue let’s all give a warm welcome to secretshairloss, tiphairloss and Numerology Helper.

Keep praying for each other.

Be kind.

Do something nice for someone today!

Peace.
