Snap Thoughts

It’s that time again!  

We will be leaving for Taiwan in the morning.

Therefore, I will not be posting during our journey.  

As most of you know, I only travel on low cost carrier airlines so I am limited to a mere 15lbs of “Carry On” baggage.  My old laptop is just too heavy to make the journey.  And I don’t type so well on a smartphone screen.

Please bear with me as I make this journey.  There are many Overseas Foreign Workers in Taiwan that need reassurance and encouragement.  Many of them are worried about China’s repeated assertions that they will place Taiwan under their rule and do so by force if necessary.  

The recent demonstrations in Hong Kong, in response to new laws being imposed by the Chinese central government, have caused many to flee to Taiwan.  That exodus will add to fears of OFW’s already living and working in Taiwan.

Please pray for us.  Pray for safety and opportunities to be a blessing and a comfort to others in Taiwan.  Pray for no problems with immigration.  Pray for good weather.

I hope that you will continue to follow the blog during my absence.  I invite you to scan the archives and read some of the previous posts until I return.

I will miss each and every one of you.  I love you all.
