A Warm Place With No Memories

Can’t say exactly what made me fall in love with island life.

It has been said the Pacific has no memory.

And here, my island is surrounded by the deep blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Some say that white sand, palm trees and waves kissing the shoreline can drug you.

Everything is so intense. The colors. The taste. Even the rain.

Others say that whatever you are looking for…you will find here.

I think that whatever you want to forget…you won’t remember here.

They say when when you come to the islands you will understand a lot in a few minutes. The rest…it’s got to be lived.

The smell, that’s the first thing that hits you. Promising everything in exchange for your memories.

Then something happens, as you knew it would, and nothing can ever be the same again.

That’s where I want to live the rest of my life. A warm place with no memory.
