Bacon and Eggs and God. Come and Dine

Pentecost

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place

We read in Acts 2:1-4…And when the day of Pentecost was fully come…they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. Errant teachers would have you to believe the early Church was indwelt, sealed and baptized into the Body of Christ on this memorable day. They do so from hindsight, using Paul’s Epistles as proof, but the apostle to the Gentiles was not even saved until sometime later.

Never allow these erring teachers, clothed in priestly garb, pull the wool over your eyes by saying Pentecost cannot be repeated; that it was a one-time thing, only found in Acts Chapter 2. Really? They why do we read much later on in Acts 11:15 Peter saying, And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Obviously, we can see it happened again! And the good news is that it still happens today. The Holy Ghost still falls in power upon God’s people. How do I know this? I have seen it happen.

Bible correctors make their careers out of putting God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into a box. For if these puffed up, so-called theologians can confine them, they believe they can hijack the authority of the scriptures and insert their own authority over the Word of God.

When the Holy Spirit of God comes, he never confines himself to the church. A tent revival in an open field can penetrate throughout an entire community. The Holy Spirit of God at work in the church is often felt in homes, the workplace, schools, etc. Throughout history, Christian and secular writers have documented the accounts of the Holy Spirit affecting entire communities.
